Go to Google, type in “.WMA to .MP3 Converter”. And look for a converter thats free and seems legit.
Ideally you shouldn’t convert from one compressed format to another, you will lose some quality in the process, as each format does different things with the data and throws the rest away.
I dont convert my windows media files. Its almost not needed if you have alot of space on your mp3 player. Yes .wma takes up more space but its better sound quality. Converted .wma to mp3 you compress it but lose sound quality so in turn you have to crank up the volume…
I like MP3 players over Ipods…I dont care to convert my music to Itunes just to play on a player. I just want to click on the music I want and drag it over to stick in my mp3 player. Plus mp3 players are cheaper than Ipods. I bought my mp3 player about 2 yrs ago and it was about 40 bucks cheaper than the cheapest Ipod out. My Mp3 player is a Creative Nomad TX 256MB (holds about 2-3hrs of music depending on the sampling rate) Its just enough for a 5k road race or a 2 hr cross training session.

Your gona have to google to find a free mp3 converter program. Alot of them out there are trials and you have to pay for the program to continue after the trial ends.
I’ve dropped my mp3 player countless times and it still works like a charm. Ear pieces suck so I got new ones.
http://www.download.com will become your best friend. They have lot’s of great programs that you can often download for free or use a trial version, and best of all it’s safe. At download.com you will find plenty of programs that can help you convert your music (and you kind actually download some pretty awesome obscure music for free). As far as an ipod and an mp3 player, I believe the difference is simply the format in which the music is in (itune vs. mp3). I prefer mp3 players over itunes myself, simply because it seems easier to me to transer music to cd’s, other computers, and other mp3 players. Hope that helps
I use Music Match Jukebox and it has a converter that you can convert different formats.
i don’t think that itz necessary for you to convert wma files into mp3, just so u can put it in mp3 player. however wma is kind of better in a sense because it takes less space on mp3 player, compared to mp3 files. if you want to download songs you can go to http://www.limewire.com, and download the software. then download songs from this software. once the songs are downloaded then you can put them in your child’s mp3 player. Ipods are very expensive about $200 or more. i’d say you can stick with mp3 player and once your daughter is older, because she might drop it or something, mp3 player are a lil’ more reliable. if you drop mp3 player a few times, itz fine. but if you drop IPOD, sometime it does not even work after one time it dropped.once she is older you know you can then get her an ipod when she is about 12-13 years old. when you buy an mp3 player, you get a cd with it, and you install that program, and start to drag and drop file in that program, also make sure when you are using the program that you are given by the mp3 player company, make sure your mp3 player is connected to the computer, so you can transfer songs.you know wat, i am sure there must be a manual with your mp3 player, you can read through that and see if that helps you understand it better.
You’re going to lose a lot of sound quality converting from one compressed format to another. You’re better option is to rerip the CD’s to the MP3 format to begin with (or redownload them in MP3 format).
Why you’re using the WMA format is beyond me hehehe.
