I have had a lot of hits from google on my iPod won’t turn off article. I just wanted to write a quick article to clarify on how to turn one off. If you hod the play/pause button for several seconds, it will turn off the iPod. If the iPod is not playing music, it will automatically turn itself off after several minutes.
To turn off the iPod shuffle, you simply put the slider on the back to the up position.
Now for the iPod Video, you have to pause the video first, and then hold the play/pause button for several seconds.Source: Greg Lipscomb
