I was wondering how the new ipod shuffle works, does it just shuffle music or can you set up playlists in iTunes and access them on the shuffle?

Don’t bother getting one. It is crap. You can get much better mp3 players for the same price. Ones where you can actually see and choose what you want to play as opposed to being random

the shuffle randomly selects the songs you hear. there is no screen for you to select which song you want although you can skip songs.
whats shuffle your favourite songs in a different order every time or if you want unshuffle switch off shuffle mode and listen to your playlist in order from the first song to the last

For the price, I think the shuffle is worth it- but it depends on what you want it for. I got mine for the gym: it clips to my clothes, is super light and has good sound quality. At the gym, I don’t have the time or need to look at a screen, so that’s not an issue. Also, if it gets stolen or lost, $79 isn’t that much of a loss. It holds more than enough music. You can turn off the shuffle mode and play it straight, if you choose. The switch is kinda small, but I like it- worth the money for the sturdy construction, design, features and the reputation for quality.
iPod Shuffle is a Small Player, It’s Cheap and Definitley Worth It… Many People Says It’s Cool and many say they prefer screen. depends on which sides you are. As Far as I’m concern IPOd sHUFFLE dONT LET YOU manage playlists it’s only got autofill to randomly select music off you iTunes. It’s got a clip and will hold for many hours of music too bad cause iPod Shuffle has the same quality as the nano and video because apple switched to samsung for chip management unlike the old shuffle.. but for design and price… it’s definitely worth it…
